My Compelling Story

Taru Shrivastava is a professional singer based out of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She is a capable and versatile singer who has the potential to become a prospective playback singer. Following the footsteps of evergreen singers, she has given priority to learning classical forms of singing from an early age. Her voice carries that purity and innocence which can be seen in the voice of matured artists like Alka Yagnik and Shreya Ghosal. She has given a lot of effort and devoted hours into perfecting her singing sings. Taru is a classic example of the proverb “Practise makes a man perfect,” or woman in this case. Taru is passionate about performing at Live concerts and showcases. She has performed in various events such as corporate conferences, weddings, and musical events in schools and colleges. She even got an opportunity to perform at the CII‘s Indian Women Network’s event for International Women's Day. Singing for more than 17 years now, Taru has won numerous awards. She has been bestowed with many awards and achievements right from her college days. Her most cherished moment was when she won the Excellence in Music Award in 2012.
