Biography

Swara Bharathi is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad. The band is a six-piece classic Sufi fusion band with an eclectic mix of electric and acoustic instruments. The band covers a wide range of musical genres such as classic rock, jazz, Sufi, Hindustani and Carnatic classical, ultimately blended into a unique fusion sound. Band Members: Ram Mohan S – Tabla Irfan Khan – Sitar Sushrut Pandith – Vocals, Guitar, Piano Pandith Samrat Das Gupta – Vocals Prem – Drums Raghu – Saxophone Has performed in association with Department of Language and Culture Government of Telangana. As far as performance goes, Swara Bharati has the knack of soothing the entire audience gently into a musical trance. This has of course, come with years of expertise in the field and great co-ordination among the members. Fusion is a specialty that they deliver with ease and grace, and this particularly holds true for listeners who look forward to unique musical experiences.
