He was born and brought up in Patna, Bihar.Since childhood, he was interested in current affairs and often used to take part in debate competitions held in his school and college.He started his career as a news anchor with Live India.In 2011, he joined News 24 as a news anchor and associate executive producer.In November 2011, he joined NDTV as a news anchor and associate editor where he worked for years.In 2016, he joined India News as a senior anchor-cum-deputy editor and producer.On India News, he hosted many popular shows, such as Prashnkaal, Suno India, and Jawab To Dena Hoga.He is an avid animal lover.
