Sumitra Iyer is a professional singer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. She first became a household name, thanks to Amul Star Voice of India, and later, Ustaadon Ka Ustaad, which judged her the best singer across all reality shows. She then went on to playback singing in different languages in the Indian film industry. Her first break came in the movie, Victory, for a song called Mazaa Aa Gayaa, with music by Anu Malik. As of today her repertoire includes movies like the Rakta Charitra (Telugu/Hindi), Knock Out (Hindi), Yaara O Dildaara (Punjabi),  Satrangi Re (Marathi), Rang Rasiya (Hindi) and many more movies and music albums. As a true connoisseur, Sumitra also loves interacting with a LIVE audience whenever possible. She is a brand when it comes to shows and a live wire performer on stage. She has performed all over the world in every city in the USA, India, Middle East, New Zealand, etc. She has also collaborated with Sonu Nigam in Idea Rocks India 2005 and Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Hariharan in their concerts.
