Biography

Sukoon is a LIVE band based out of Guwahati, Assam. The band was formed in 2010. In 2011, Sukoon performed for the first time at Alcheringa, IIT Guwahati, one of the biggest college festivals in the region, and won it with high appreciation from the judges and lots of love from the big crowd. They have also performed at the North-East Beach Rock Festival. They are influenced by the soul artists such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Kailasha, Euphoria, Metallica, Dream Theater, and many others. The four-piece Sufi/Indie/funk band has shared the stage with different musical bands of various genres like metal, rock n roll, and classic rock. Some of their original compositions are Door Naa Jaa, Ferrari, Atankhwaad, and Tanhaa Saa Hai.
