Sukhwinder Singh Pinky is a great Tabla master who believes in learning more and more, he hails from Shri Bhaini Sahib (Ludhiana, Punjab), he is a disciple of great Pandit Kishan ji Maharaj. He is working in this field since last 40+ years and has a vast experience of performing solo as well as a team. He made his first impression at Birla Mateshwari hall, Mumbai in 1978,after that he has tremendous achievements and meteoric rise in his popularity and career, he has shared the stage with late Ustad Vilayat Khan ,Pt Ravishankar Ji , ustad Amjad Khan , Pt Hari Prasad Sharma Ji, Ustad Shahid Parvez , Pt Jasraj Ji, Ustad Imrat Khan and Edward Niebla. He has also registered his presence at international stage which reckon in BBC orchestra, Carnegie hall and at Wembley arena with legendary Asha Bhosle. His work resulted in getting him the prestigious Grammy Award (1994) and Asian guild Award (2004) along with all these in 1989, USA he was honored with citizenship of Baltimore in Maryland States.
