Sujata Trivedi is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She started singing from the age of seven and has won several prizes and awards. She started her training under the tutelage of Prabhakar Dhakde in Nagpur, followed by Ustaad Ghulaam Mustafa Khan, Pt Ajay Pohankar, and Ustaad Asad Ali Khan. She has learnt different aspects of light music from Pt Satyanarayan Mishra, Shri Kalyanjibhai, and Gautam Mukherji. Sujata has done recordings with legendary musician AR Rahman for the songs – 'Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha', 'Boondon Se Baatein' and 'Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi' (1947 Earth). She also recorded with Viju Shah for the movie Calcutta Mail’s peppy song, 'In Saahab Ko Zara Dekho'.
