Subhreet Kaur Ghumman is a professional dancer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Popularly known as the one-legged dancer, she hails from Amargarh, Punjab. Subhreet Kaur lost her leg in a road accident in 2009, while she was riding her scooter. She lost her limb due to doctor's negligence. She was inspired when she saw Vinod Thakur, the famous dancer with no legs, dancing on a TV show and decided to start dancing with her one leg. Subh started practising daily. She continued her passion for dance, and lived her life according to the motto: ‘Never give up, nothing is impossible’. She got selected for India's Got Talent TV show for her dance performance. After her show, she got standing applause from the judges and audience. Subhreet Kaur danced so well on the sets of India's Got Talent 5 that Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, could stop raving about her on Twitter. In 2015, she became a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Season 8) and impressed the judges with her performance. Sadly, she got eliminated in the 6th week.
