Street Academics is a professional rap LIVE band based in Kochi, Kerala. They are known for blending Malayalam and English lyrics into their music consisting of boom bap elements, ambience, and electronic music. They came to the spotlight after their two songs – ‘Vandi Puncture’ and ‘Native Bapa’, which went viral on the social media. Apart from simple street commentary and toasting found in their Malayalam lyrics, they are noted for their conscious and surreal English lyricism.
