Still Waters is a blues/rock/tribute LIVE band based out of the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok. It was founded in the year 2001. The band maintains the brand of being a "feel-good high-energy riff rock" act. Their onstage presence and original music is beyond being gentle and simple. From performing at big college fests to releasing full-length albums, from headlining at gigs to appearing on TV and being listed among the 'best Indian band' nominations, the band has had all of them. They are presently working on the release of their third full-length album. They are also aiming to have a foreign tour. The band rose to fame with its song, 'Happy Go Lucky', which got selected for Rock Street Journal's Great Indian Rock Fest, in the year 2002. After that, Still Waters went on to record its debut album, 'Such a Long Time' in Gangtok. From the album, songs like 'Rock to the Rescue', 'Live a Little', 'In Love with a Stranger', and 'Paradise Lost' received appreciation.
