Staccato is a band based in Chennai. They take inspiration from various forms of music and fuse them with newer arrangements to form their own music. They are quite popular in their hometown due to their memorable performances in events. Among the six bands shortlisted to represent our country at the World Finals of Tum Tum Pa- an event held in Brazil. Also, the music for "˜Thinapayanam' was scored by the band. The music went on to gain international recognition when it was featured in the "Norway Film Festival". The band has been a source of pride for India. It has made sure that we are well represented on the International Stage. A unique and exciting perspective towards music, the band is proving to be a Cult!
