Srinivasa R is a professional dancer based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. He has been in the field of dance for the last 20 years. He learnt the art from Guru Smt Shubha Dhananjay and is currently under the guidance of Sri Sathyanarayana Raju. His serious passion and dedication towards the art form moulded him to a professional dancer, teacher, and a choreographer. He has acquired BA Degree in choreography from the Natya Institute Of Kathak and Choreography headed by Guru Dr Maya Rao. He has rendered his service for the Times of India as an NIE Consultant, educating and nurturing various young talents in the field of Indian Cultural Heritage at several esteemed institutions of Bangalore. He is a member of the unique and vibrant male dancers troupe called Tandava- The Vibrance, which is creating a new trend in the field of dance. He has had the privilege of working with all the leading choreographers in India. He is associated with the Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning from a very young age and performing lead roles in their productions. Since music is his another serious interest, he is pursuing his vocal lessons as well Other than dance, he is also trained in martial art forms like Thang–Tha of Manipur, Chau from Orissa, and Kalaripayattu of Kerala. He is a graded artist of the Doordarshan, Bangalore, and has the credit of working for various school projects choreographing thematic presentations.
