Sri Shabhari Chende is a professional dance troupe based out of Mangalore, Karnataka. It is one of the most famous chende troupes in India, making new innovations everyday to the art of playing the chende. The non-Keralite chende group of Mangalore was the first to introduce Kerala chende and Sinkari melam to the state of Karnataka. The troupe has performed in front of the people of Mangalore, Bangalore, Mysore, Bellary, Darwad, Kolar, Yallapur, Udupi Hassan, and many other places. They also had conducted programs in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. The dance synchronization with the chende beat is the major attraction of this troupe. This team has more than 60 well-trained members to entertain people using different chende beats and attractive dance steps. By 2012, Sri Shabhari Chende had performed more than 183 shows all over India.
