Biography
Sreerama Chandra is a professional singer based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra He won the position of the best singer in Indian Idol, Season 5. This talented singer made his Telugu cinema acting debut with the film, Sri Jagaduru Aadi Sankara. This artist was the hero in the debut film, Prema Geema Jantha Nai as well. Sreerama was influenced by artists like Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Ghantasala and SP Balasubramaniam. He is a graduate in Carnatic music and spent five years training to become a singer professionally. He always dreamt of being a playback singer. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, a Yash Raj film, had two songs that were sung by him – Madhubala and Ishq Risk. Later, Subhanallah, from the film, Yeh Jawani Hain Dewani, made Sreeama even more popular. He sang over 200 songs in seven different languages such as Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Singhalese, Kannada and English.
