Split End Tongue is a LIVE band based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. Death, thrash, doom, black, core, and goth along with the growls, and screeches, those guttural symphonies have extensively evolved in India since the new millennium. It would not be wrong to say that once deemed to be a taboo, underground music is not on the ground anymore. It is a liberating fact, but on the other hand, this also calls for a resurrection of dying rock. Thus, amidst the chaos and frantic-antics of extreme dwellers and underground practitioners, surfaces a group of metaphorical gypsies who believes in changing the course of a shooting star, Split End Tongue. Split End Tongue came into existence when a group of talented individuals came together with the intention of not only having fun but also making some good music. Split End Tongue is an aggressive yet calculative facet of an ongoing music revolution. Their compositions draw inspiration from myriad cultures and styles. It is, in fact, interesting to know that the member’s tastes contradict one another thus leading to a rather surprisingly unique blend of songwriting.
