Sourabhee Debbarma is a professional singer based out of the capital city of Tripura, Agartala. She is a petite, glamorous and bubbly girl who created history when she won the Indian singing reality show, Indian Idol Season 4 in the year 2009, and becoming the first female Indian Idol in India. She also holds a record in the Guinness Book of World Records – for singing non-stop for 4:30 minutes while suspended upside down. Her debut album, Meherbaan, was nominated for the title of 'best popular music album' in GiMA Awards 2010. She has also worked with music director Shantanu Moitra for the music video – Our Northeast Our Star. She loves singing all types of music from ghazals to Bollywood numbers or from melodious to rock. She has performed in Hong Kong, Nigeria, Durban, New York, London, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Nepal and many more.
