Sourabh Goho is a professional instrumentalist based out of Kolkata, West Bengal.
He deftly plays the tabla but with a twist that is unconventional.
This very talented artist shows great interest in Indian classical, classical fusion and world music.
He also shows great interest in electro classical, electronica, flamenco, jazz, free improvisations, Indian blue and Bollywood songs.
Being the son of harmonium maestro, Jyoti Goho and the disciple of tabla maestro late Pandit Shankar Ghosh has given him great depth of knowledge in instrumental music.
Currently, he is receiving training from maestro Bickram Ghosh.
In 2010, he received the National Scholarship Award from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
He won fame and appraisal after his breathtaking performance at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy.
His international debut at Shanghai, China in 2013 and his solo performance at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Kolkata made him more popular among his fans.
A jazz concert took place at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi for American Institute of Indian Studies.
Sourabh also performed at The Mathieson Music School, Kolkata and conducted a workshop for aspiring students.
Currently, he performed at Rabindra Tirtha, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture and Satyajit Ray Auditorium ICCR. He also performed with his father at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
He also performed at Habitat Centre, Delhi, Epicentre, Gurgaon, The Oberoi, Delhi, All India Tabla Conference, Secunderabad, Phoenix Market City, Bangalore, Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi, Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, Sangeet Natak Academi for Legends of India, New Delhi, Maihar Palace, Madhya Pradesh and HCL Concerts Gurgaon.
