My Compelling Story

Sonali Vij is an original alternative rock Singer/ Songwriter/ Producer. She recently released her  EP STOREYS UNKNOWN. Her music is is heavily layered with acoustic and electric guitars produced in the thickest flavors of angst and aggression. Sonali is highly influenced by Radiohead which made her music highly alternative in nature and psychedelic in its vibe. The song REBEL garnered much attention from the masses and has crossed over a lac hits on YouTube. She was a finalist at the Artist Aloud Music Awards 2014 (Powered by Hungama). Her Song Crown of Thorns airs on Pepsi MTV INDIES has been critically appreciated by industry experts like Mr. Parag Kamani, the General Manager for Music Content at Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries.  Sonali is highly influenced by Radiohead. She performs acoustically as a duo and also as a five piece band. She is a multi- instrumentalist. Guitars are her forte' but she also has a hang of piano, harmonica and the drums. She is a sucker for classic rock and loves to performs songs by THE BEATLES, THE EAGLES, ABBA, POLICE etc. The new age artists she likes to cover are Coldplay, Maroon5 and Radiohead.
