Sonal Sanap is a professional singer based out of Pune, Maharashtra. She is an inspiring talent that appeared on LIVE broadcast in Norwegian Idol 2016. Sonal is a self-trained singer and songwriter who is born and raised in India and hails from Dusarbid, a small village in Maharashtra. Her passionate commitment for music led her to train herself and be the first generation in the music industry from her family. With her unique vocals, shining personality and her very own ability to put her personal stamp on everything, she touches the hearts. Sonal is an artist. In addition to her distinctive voice, she has a natural empathy and communication skills that she transcends musically. Sonal drew her initial musical inspiration from gothic metal bands like Evanescence and Lacuna Coil.
