Somanshu Agarwal is a professional instrumentalist based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. The self-taught pianist started to play piano at the age of 14. Since he belongs from a small town Nainital situated in the state of Uttarakhand, he could not find any piano teachers. Therefore, he made YouTube his source of knowledge and started learning by watching other pianists’ videos which helped him a lot to learn different techniques and playing styles. He then started his YouTube channel in 2011 and started covering famous Bollywood, EDM, and English pop songs. Somanshu has been supported by artists like Sachin-Jigar, Amaal Mallik, KSHMR, Sharib-Toshi, Alan Walker, Gareth Emery, etc. In 2015, he took part in an online competition hosted by Casio, in which he was selected and was called to Chennai to meet the legendary AR Rahman, who even gave him a certificate. He has now moved to Noida to pursue music as his career.
