Biography
Soham Mallick is trained in Hindustani classical music (Chandigarh Gharana) for eight years, from the veteran classical singer, Sri Shantimoy Mukhopadhyay. He has been playing the guitars for over five years without any formal training but well-equipped with music theory combined with the theory learnt in Hindustani classical music. Soham is a versatile vocalist with proper training. He is equally comfortable in performing both Eastern and Western vocals. He is the frontman of the bands You-Turn (Delhi), The Straight Outs (Delhi), String Theory (Jamshedpur) and plays the guitars for the same as well. Soham has been a singer/songwriter in Kolkata and has performed solo gigs as well.
