Born with an undying urge to breathe, eat, and live music, Sohail started playing the guitar at the age of five. He soon mastered the skill with regular practice and dedication. He discovered his inside singer after working and composing with a Delhi-based band 'Ehsaas’. He was also the part of the album named, EHSAAS in the year 2013. Sohail has shared stage with many big artists like Atif Aslam, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Suryaveer, Farhan Saeed and many other artists across the country. A six-piece music band formed by Sohail Ahmad brought together talents like himself from different parts of the country and has ever since regaled the audience with tremendous melodies. Their talent is not limited to just one genre, they have mastered several other genres as well. The sound of Kafila is drawn from the influences of Fusion, Rock, Pop, Sufi, Genres of Indian Music, Experimental and Traditional varieties. Sohail with Kafila is always ready to entertain with a new styles each time through their truly transcendental music.
