Sneh Upadhya is an Indian actress and playback singer who is known for her works in Bhojpuri films.She grew up in a middle-class Upadhya family in Samastipur, Bihar.Since childhood, Sneh Upadhya was interested in acting and singing, and she used to actively participate in various cultural programs held in her school.At the age of four, she started learning music under the tutelage of musician Arun Poddar. Later, Ghazal singer Majid Hassan also mentored her in music.Later, she studied music at Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Allahabad.In her childhood, she used to practice music while playing Harmonium.At the beginning of her singing career, she used to perform at various singing events held in many villages, small towns, and big cities.Her first noticeable performance was at a National Book Fair.In 2011, she won a popular singing competition in Bihar. In 2013, she stood at 12th position in the singing TV reality show Sur Sangram on Mahua TV.In 2019, she made her singing debut with the Bhojpuri film Dilwar starring Arvind Akela.
