Skrat is an alternative rock LIVE band based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. It was founded in the year 2006. The band is known to be amongst the most energetic acts from the southern India. Catchy and powerful riffs coupled with some real tight drum and bass grooves is what defines the band's sound. They are quite a riot on the stage too, with their witty one-liners and jokes. In an environment of metal music, this act got the crowd and went on playing more than 100 gigs and counting. They have played at some of the major cities in southern India, Mumbai and even at an independent festival in Reading, England. After the release of its first studio album, titled 'Design', the band took a short break and later reformed with a fresh sound and direction. Band Members: TT Sriram – Guitars and vocals Satish Narayanan – Bass and backing vocals Tapass Naresh – Drums and backing vocals
