Siddharth Kannan is a professional anchor/emcee based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Sid K, as he is popularly known, is considered as one of the trendsetters and pioneers in FM radio, starting his career at the age of 14 with Times FM. He was registered in the Limca Book of Records for being the youngest RJ on FM radio. He has received a number of awards including the ‘Best Radio Host’ for six times in a row! In 2014, he was one of the hosts of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi and, in the same year, hosted the inaugural season of the Champions Tennis League on Sony Six. He received a lot of appreciation on air from tennis stars like Martina Hingis, Venus Williams, and Leander Paes. Siddharth’s refreshing way of blending sports with entertainment became very popular with the viewers. In 2010, Sid started his TV show ‘See Taare Mastiii Mein’ – An ‘A listed’ celebrity chat show on Mastiii where every big star in the Bollywood industry was featured. He has become a favourite amongst them because of his unique effortless style of making them talk. This show truly stands out because of Sid’s fun quotient and his rapport with stars makes them confess and make a lot of revelations. Sid recently was the commentator and host of Celebrity Cricket League on Colors, where he won the hearts of cricket and Bollywood stars with his unique way of mixing Bollywood with cricket. He has hosted the IIFA Weekend Extravaganza events for three years in a row. Some of his other LIVE events include The Femina Miss India, Teachers Achievements Awards, the official commentator for the Afro-Asian Games, Ford Supermodel, and has done gigs with almost every Bollywood star and corporate brands.
