She shared a post on her Twitter handle in which she wrote  I am sorry for having hurt the sentiments of the many followers of the great leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. My heartfelt apologies to followers of the great leader, who I sincerely respect. The video has already been taken down. Please amplify.Later, Shubham Mishra shared a video on his Instagram in which he used abusive language against Agrima Joshua for her comments on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.Comedian Kunal Kamra while sharing Shubham Mishras video with the National Commission for Women, wrote, Dear @NCWIndia does this concern you, we see this scumbag give open threats to a female comedian who has already apologised & taken her objectionable video down.In reply, the National Commission for Women said  Keeping in line with #NCWs commitment towards ensuring safety of #women online, our Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to @dgpgujarat for taking immediate action against Shubham Mishra, the man hurling abuses against a female comedian in this video..On 12 July 2020, Swara Bhaskar wrote to Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh  Sir Instagram influencer by name Shubham Mishra/Badass Shubham in video posted on @instagram threatened publicly 2 rape #AgrimaJoshua & has incited other men to do same. As a woman living in Maharashtra I feel unsafe that an admitted rapist is roaming free! Pls look into it..On 12 July 2020, the Vadodara Police took Shubham Mishra in custody and charged him under various sections of the IPC & IT Act.Shubham Mishra is a good friend with the popular Indian YouTuber Hindustani Bhau, and both have appeared in many videos together.
