Shruti Seth is a professional anchor based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She started her career as a guest relation executive at the Taj Hotel, Mumbai. Her entry to modelling happened by chance, according to Shruti. She did it for extra pocket money. As time went on, she moved on to model for various commercials like TATA Home Finance, Clean and Clear moisturiser, Frooti, Ponds Talc, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Airtel, LG, Mrs Marino Hair Softener, Dominos, and Stayfree Secure. Later, she moved on to television.  It was her stint on Channel V that put her on the map. She hosted First Dat Show and Junglee Jukebox. She then acted in many serials like Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand, Kyu Hota Hai Pyaar, and Shararat. Her acting in Shararat received critical acclaim, and the show proved to be a hit. Shruti has also hosted many seasons of Comedy Circus and was also seen in Rishta.com on SONY TV. Shruti has also starred in a few films. She is popularly known for roles in Fanna (2006) with Kajol and Aamir Khan, Tara Rum Pum, and an appearance in Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti.
