Shiv Rajoria and Jyotsna Rajoria are the famous, renowned Indian Urdu/Hindi ghazals singers. They formed a highly popular duet team and are considered pioneers in modern ghazal singing. Dr Jyotsna met Shiv Rajoria in Mumbai in the late 2001s, and they started a musical career together by music direction and music albums for various music companies. Their career took off with the launching of the HMV released album, Dekhni, an album with several firsts to its credit. Their public singing before large audiences revolutionized ghazal singing. Until then, ghazal singing had been confined to musical performances before small audiences consisting primarily of the elite in the society. Shiv Rajoria has a historical journey from Chhindwara to Mumbai. He has achieved a lot in between his journey from hometown to Mumbai. Right from music direction and arranging music for various Hindi, Marathi telefilms to ghazal singing and LIVE performance, Shiv has performed with many music maestros from Hindi and Marathi film industries.
