Shishir Parkhie is a professional ghazal singer based out of Nagpur, Maharashtra. He was recently nominated for the Best Ghazal Album category at the prestigious Global Indian Music Academy Awards, GiMA-2012 for Roomaniyat, his self-composed solo album. Shishir has enthralled audiences across the world with his soulful and unique style of singing. He has performed in various cities all over India and his recent overseas performances at Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates, were highly appreciated. Achievements: Nominated for GIMA Awards 2012 in the Best Ghazal Album Category Nominated for GIMA Awards 2015 in the Best Ghazal Album Category Awarded by All India Radio on the occasion of International year of Child in 1979
