My Compelling Story
Being close to her grandfather and the stringent training she learned all the intricacies of the dance form. The aesthetic and artistic emotion she puts in her small movements exhibits her passion towards the dance. The gentle touch of her feet sets the entire stage on fire. Being the ninth generation dancer from the Kalka Bindadin lineage she fulfills all the expectations and amazes the crowd with her incredible rhythmic steps. She uses the crisp flow of her hands and her minute but dominating foot movements as a creative outlet that lets the public experience the affluence of traditions which is age’s old and modern tastes. She has her own style that identifies her even in the crowd.The music, themes, costumes and her presentation makes it so unusual that it perfectly seems to be the beautiful confluence of modern era and traditional values. The impeccable neck and eyebrows movements, the facial expressions, the soothing sound of anklets, the firework of rhythms, and the vivacious way of storytelling touches the soul of audience.
