Sharry Mann, swiftly becoming one of the most talked about names in the Punjabi music industry, took the opportunities of the internet and brought YouTube to new heights in 2010. He first came into limelight after his track namely, 'Kudiyan Te Bussan', were leaked via the web which attracted a lot of attention. Sharry's step to stardom took place when he released his first produced single, 'Yaar Anmulle'. The album is based on college life and reminiscing the good times with friends that we all have regardless of where we have grown up, be it skipping classes, cruising with mates or pursuing girls. The track received attention from all corners of the globe with many viewers connecting with the subject of the track. Within one week of the release of the video on YouTube which features pictures of Sharry Mann and his friends, it had reached 200,000 views. It far exceeded any recent video released by a UK Bhangra artist for the same time frame. To date, the track has received over 9 million hits, which was a tremendous achievement when it was released in August 2010!
