Sharma Bandhu is a LIVE band based out of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. It is the brainchild of Sharma Bandhu. Sharma Bandhu, belonging to the musician family of Gwalior, has done his post graduation in music (vocals) from the Music University of Khairagarh and Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad (UP). He was awarded the Lata Mangeshkar Samman by Sur Singaar Samsad, Mumbai in 1986, Sangeet Gaurabh Award by Sangeetayan, New Delhi, Meera Bhakt Shiromani Samman by Meera Kala Mandir, Udaipur, and the Abhinav Kala Samman and Mahakal Samman by Madhuban Samstha, Bhopal. The group has been singing bhajans for more than 20 years now. They are also All India Radio and TV artists and have performed at many bhajan programmes all over India in reputed organizations, in front of eminent personalities. The group’s bhajans are regularly telecasted by Sanskar channel and Doordarshan.
