Shanaynigans is a LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. It is the brainchild of Shanay, a Mumbai-based singer/songwriter. He has performed with popular independent artists in India and San Francisco and played an acoustic set on a San Francisco chat show called the HAPI show a few years back. In 2015, he played at the prestigious Kala Ghoda festival with his band. Shanaynigans have transformed the traditional approach to LIVE performances with their use of pitch-perfect vocals, coupled with unusual instruments such as the ukulele, cajon and melodica. From the evergreen classics by Kishore Kumar to the soulful ballads of Lucky Ali, from the hip-shaking hits by Elvis to chart-busting club singles, Shanaynigans have re-invented every genre creating a unique sound of their own.
