Shafqat Amanat Ali is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Belonging to a musical family, he is a part of the nine-generation-old Patiala Gharana. Shafqat has been learning Hindustani classical music since the age of four. His main influences are Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, Roshanara Begum, and many others. He is the voice behind the song, 'Mitwa', from the film, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, 'Yeh Hausla' in Nagesh Kuknoor’s film, Dor, and much more. Awards: President's Pride of Performance in 2007 Best Live Act (artist) at The Musik Awards' 08 (TMA), at a star-studded ceremony in Karachi
