Shades of Retribution is a five-piece folk death metal band based out of Dibrugarh, Assam. Formed in 2010, Shades of Retribution has an old school base root, deriving influences from the Assamese culture and the other regions of North-East India. They draw influences from thrash/death metal bands. The band firmly believes in the concept of 'one tribe and one sound'.
