Seemingly That is the brainchild of Adriel George and Pruthu Parab. Two school friends who grew up playing music together, trying to create a soundscape that, they believed, best represented each other's strengths. Years later, this turned into a project with the purpose of exploring new concepts in sound, through electronically-produced music. In 2011, they collaborated with other independent filmmakers to score their first science-fiction short film titled 'Luminous Matter'. This led to various nominations at festivals, such as The Leeds International Film festivals, U.K.; Jaipur International Film Festival and Digicon in Tokyo. It eventually opened the doors to all sorts of ventures, including producing an hour-long score for a contemporary dance named 'Wonkot' in 2013. It was well received by the Independent Dance community when in premiered at the National Centre for Performing Arts in Mumbai. The same year, they contributed a piece of original music for Padmashree Awardee Astad Deboo for his own private showcase. While their endeavors with the arts continue, they have also been establishing themselves in the commercial space with music produced for a variety of brands including KFC, Closet Label by Malaika Khan, Quick Heal Anti Virus, Diva'ni by Yash Raj etc. Today, they still continue their associations with various visual artists and other directors.
