Sarbjit Cheema is a professional singer based out of the capital of Haryana and Punjab, Chandigarh. He belongs to a Jat Sikh family and was born in Nurmahal. For higher studies, Cheema joined Jalandhar's Lyallpur Khalsa College. There, he joined the bhangra team of his college and won several prizes at college, university, and state level. After completing his graduation, he moved to Canada. His most successful album was Chandigarh Shaher Di Kuddi. His smash hit Punjabi song, Rangla Punjab, from his album, Mela Vekhdiye Mutiyare, was released in 1996. Some of his hit numbers are Billo Teri Tor Vekh Ke, Dhol Vajda, Rang Rara Riri Rara, Bhangra, Nacho-Nacho, Khatta Doria, Chandigarh Shehar Di Kudi, and Boliyan. Most of his albums' music was produced by musicians, Sukhpal Sukh and Atul Sharma. Currently, he is working with the musician, Aman Hayer, who has sung many Boliyan in his albums. At present, Cheema has two religious albums and 12 studio albums under his pocket. His latest album, Indian Sardari, is due to release in October 2016, with music composed by Tigerstyle, Rupin Kahlon, and Tru-Skool. He started his film career by appearing in the movie, Pind Di Kudi, in 2004, opposite to Sheeba Bhakri and Veena Malik. Then, he appeared in Apni Boli Apna Des in 2009. In 2012, he produced a film called Punjab Bolda, starring Anisha Pooja, Gurchet Chitrakar, BN Sharma, Binnu Dhillon, Karamjit Anmol, Amarjit Cheema, and more. Next, he resumed acting in the Punjabi film named Haani with Harbhajan Mann.
