Saraj Pragya is a LIVE band based out of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The three-piece band plays Indian classical music. The music of India is said to be one of the oldest unbroken musical traditions in the world, and devotional music is one of the most traditional and old forms of Indian music. The origin of this trend is said to be rooted in the Vedas. It is said that God himself is a musical sound which pervades the whole universe i.e. ‘Nadabrahma’. Indian music is therefore considered divine and is the earliest instance of the profound relationship between religion and music in India. The music of India has interaction and interweaving of various races and cultures both exotic and indigenous, resulting in its own peculiar picture depicting several colours painted together. So, Saraj Pragya has made an attempt to change the parochial outlook and guarding any attempt towards acquiring this treasure. The band hopes that they could again give voice to the glory of the country. The group is dedicated towards Indian music and are specialised in Bhajans, including some traditional and classic Bhajans. They have their own composed Bhajans in a perfect and melodious touch. The main motto of the team is to provide people a few moments of peace and calm in their stressful lives through their Bhajans.
