Saptak is a five-member band initially formed by a group of college students from SCT College of Engineering, Kerala. The members of the band have also performed individually, outside the band. Saptak has won several competitions at college level including NIT Ragam. The band has also performed for IPL Season 4 representing Kochi Tuskers Kerala at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Kochi. Saptak also created own composition which was dedicated to Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
