Santosh Mulekar, a musician and performing artist by profession, started his career at very young age.
Initially, he started accompanying his father in his shows, who is an accordion player; he is the one who identified his interest and taught him music and nurtured his dreams.
His first guru for western classical is Beny Satamkar, with whom he learned basics, and later learned from Tony Pinto for the higher grades in piano.
After working as a jingle composer as well as composing for ad films and remixes, Santosh started his career in Bollywood as a programmer and arranger with Amar Haldipur and worked with many composers like Lakshmikanth Pyrelal, Adhesh Shrivatsav, Pascal Eny, Sandeep Chota, Ismail Darbar, etc.
As a music director, he composed for the Marathi films like Hridayanath and Yeda.
Nostalgia, his debut album, was produced and composed by him.
As a live performing artist, Santosh played with many renowned musicians like Asha Bhonsle, Jagjit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, and Kavita Krishnamurthy.
