Sanjay and Uday Project is a live band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. They are a musical duo who specialize in Bollywood and Sufi music. The project comprises of two excellent artists - Sanjay Kumar and Uday Jamatia. They have exceptional skills which has converged into a synergy after coming together. Sanjay Kumar is a trained classical singer under the aegis of Shri Aniruddha Pandey from Kirana Gharana. He has shared the stage with esteemed singers like Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet Sawant, Amit Sana, Kailash Kher and many other popular artists. The group is managed by Uday Jamatia, who is a self-taught musician and has won a great deal of appreciation for his sheer passion for music. He is supported by a group of talented musicians, artists, and performers based in Delhi and Mumbai. Jamatia has shared the stage with renowned Bollywood artists such as Siam Bhat, Pulkit Rajvanshi and others Sanjay and Uday’s collaboration on Sufi and Fusion music is fascinating to hear. Listening to their pieces one can only wonder at how creative the artists can be.
