Sangeetha Ravindranath is a professional singer based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. Raised in Mysore, she showed enormous talent and was acclaimed by many renounced artists.
A Grade B radio artist, Sangeetha joined the Indian film industry at a very young age and signed up with independent filmmakers. Within a very short span of time, she has recorded songs for over 45 movies and has established herself as one of the fastest growing playback singers of Indian cinema.
She debuted with the song ‘Vone Vone’ for the film ‘Victory’ with Mika Singh; she went on to win the Best Debutant Female at Santosham South Indian Film Awards, 2013. She has also won the Zee Music Awards for Best singer Female 2014 in consideration of her contribution as a debutant for the song ‘Pakka Local’ from the movie, Namaste Madam.
Sangeetha has worked on many commercially and critically acclaimed songs such as ‘Thithlee Thithlee’ from Sudeep starrer ‘Ranna’ and ‘KD No 1’ from Yash starrer, Masterpiece. One of her most recent exceptional work also includes the popular title song from the TV serial, Jothe Jotheyali, on Zee Kannada.
