Since its inception in 2012, Sangam has come a long way as a group of young musicians seeking to bridge gaps in Indian classical music. As the name suggests, Sangam is a confluence of Hindustani and Carnatic music. At Sangam, the group members try to seamlessly blend these two forms of music. In a world where culture differences have come to hinder relationships, they see music as a fitting means to reduce these very superficial differences. Sangam explores new and contemporary avenues within the confines of these vast art forms. Marked with both individual solos and an integrated group performance, Sangam also incorporates both vocals and instruments and bring to the audience a unique and blissful blend of music. They have performed all across Delhi like Tamil Sangam, Sathya Sai Centre, India International Centre, Dilli Haat, etc., and recently at XLRI, Jamshedpur under the prestigious banner of SPIC MACAY. Their most noteworthy performance was in the presence of HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at Noida.
