Sand Kaushik is a professional sand artist based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Art is the manifestation of feelings conveyed by a combination of lines, forms, and colors. His form of art is popularly known as sand animation. He uses fingers to make fantastic sand art. Kaushik gets his inspiration of drawing from his childhood experiences. As a kid, he used to draw pictures on window glasses. Kaushik has meticulously blended European touches to make it contemporary and international. Drawing on sand on a light table, he creates powerful, fluid illustrations for large audiences with an overhead video camera projected on a large screen. Kaushik develops customized, motivational, mythological and social stories based on the interests of a specific community/audience. Different national channels likes BBC World, Aakash Bangla, AAP Aananda, etc. have covered his performances. Till date, he has done shows in more than 10 countries for several companies and sports events like: Formula One – Noida T20 World Cup Dish TV Zinc ...and many more.
