Sanchita Roy and & the Stallions is a band from the city where classical music never sleeps - Kolkata. They perform on a varied range of music ranging from rabindra sangeet to alternative rock, from bengali folk music to classical fusion. Experimenting with different kind of fusions, they do not believe in setting a boundary for themselves. They released a song recently, Aankhiyan Dhunde Tujhe which became viral on the social media after it’s release. Sung in Hindi, the song brings classical and rock music together to present a beautifully knitted song to the lovers of both the genres, and her fans in particular. The moment they sing this at their shows, the crowd goes haywire. The band includes of the amazing seven members. Sanchita is on the vocals, K.D. plays the keyboard, Sunny and Suvo are on the guitar, Rick on the Bass Guitar, Soumen on percussions and Avik on the drums. Together they unleash a stallion that is hard to stop. Sanchit Roy & the Stallions have done several performances at college fests, annual club events, as well as at restaurant and pubs in Kolkata. Their performances cover a range of popular songs from Bengali, Hindi and English languages, a rare combination to see.
