Sachin-Jigar is a duo consisting of Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya, from the capital city of Maharashtra, Mumbai. The two compose for Bollywood and Gujarati movies, together. They have enumerated a number of successful soundtracks. Before working independently as a music-director duo, they had been assisting Pritam in music arrangement setups. Sachin-Jigar has done music at different platforms – from television soaps to jingles to theater. They have done over 5000 TV episodes and over 500 plays on various channels and genres. They programmed and arranged for almost all music directors in Bollywood – from the legend A.R. Rahman, Nadeem-Shravan and Anu Malik, to Vishal-Shekhar, Sandesh Shandilya, Pritam, etc. – before they stepped in for being independent composers. In 2009, they composed one song for the movie Life Partner. Later, in 2011, the duo's first assignment as an independent music director duo was for the film F.A.L.T.U that included the hit song, 'Char Baj Gaye' and 'Le Ja Tu Mujhe'. In 2011, they scored for the movies, 'Shor In The City' and 'Hum Tum Shabana'. In Shor In The City movie, the 'Saibo' song, sung by Tochi Raina and Shreya Ghoshal, was especially appreciated by masses as well as critics; while the song, 'Karma Is A Bitch', became a huge hit. After that, they composed music for the movie, 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' (2012), 'Ajab Gazabb Love' (2012), 'Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story' (2013), 'I, Me Aur Main' (2013), 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' (2013), 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' (2012), 'OMG: Oh My God!' (2012), 'ABCD: Anybody Can Dance' (2013), 'Himmatwala' (2013), and 'Go Goa Gone' (2013). They latterly composed music for the movie, 'Issaq', and for the first time, collaborated for the Yash Raj movie, 'Shuddh Desi Romance' which was directed by Maneesh Sharma. In 2014, they composed for album of the movie, 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions and directed by Shashank Khaitan, which had the popular songs, 'Samjhavan' and 'Saturday Saturday'. Other movies like 'It's Entertainment' and 'Happy Ending' has awesome numbers by the duo. In 2015, their first movie was Badlapur, whose first single – 'Jee Karda' – was released on December 9, 2014, and was an instant hit. Another single, 'Jeena Jeena', was released on January 15, 2015, which was a blockbuster.
