Biography

Rudram The Band is a LIVE act based out of Jammu and Kashmir. The band was formed in 2012 when two friends, Vishal Khajuria and Rocky Jamwal, met at the Spanish Guitar Institute, The Strings. The Hindi band believes in the power of the fusion of pop rap and Indian Sufi rock. Earlier, the band was called Aarohan. Gradually, the band started working on some of their compositions under their own music record label called Rudram Music Records. Rudram means the cry and anger of Hindu God, Rudra, the one who can bring a new beginning after the era of destruction. The band’s music can make any change, at any moment, and at any condition, via their creative and soulful tunes. Rudram is all about innovating music in different ways.
