Biography

At the age of 19, DJ Rohan G ventured into the world of music. His inspirations originate from hip-hop and RnB, but italso traverse into other genres like deep house, progressive house, electro house, dubstep, rap, psy-trance and Bollywood. Hailing from the City of Joy, Kolkata, he took his first step as a DJ with one of the most popular nightclubs, Incognito (Taj Bengal hotel). His next stop as a DJ was at Big Ben (Hotel Kenilworth) for three years followed by the award-winning nightclub, Venom, as the resident DJ.  Rohan’s flawless performances and dedication soon earned him a double residency in Venom as well as at Privy, a hotspot nightclub for the next four years.  While at Venom, Rohan was selected to represent India at the Ministry of Sound, London all India tour. He currently holds the position of resident DJ at one of the best nightclub in town, Plush Lounge and Bar, The Astor. Versatility, great personality, right attitude and creativity have established DJ Rohan G as a well-known and successful brand. DJ Rohan has spun at a large number of other venues like Blue O (Delhi), Nyks (Delhi), Soho, Sirocco (Delhi), Sutra (Mumbai), Enigma (Mumbai), Bachhus (Bangalore), Area 51 (Pune), Zero G (Bangalore), Spoil (Hyderabad), etc. Some of the great DJs Rohan G has played alongside are DJ Spencer Broughton, DJ Krystal Roxx, DJ Eve Carey, DJ Rae, DJ Kellie Marie, DJ Lauren Pope, MIMS, DJ Daniel Portman, DJ Neil Armstrong (Jay-Z’s official DJ), etc. DJ Rohan G has also played for the Indian Premiere League at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. With a passion for music and the zeal to entertain, he is a celebrated face in the party scene and a complete entertainment package for any event.
