Riddim Funktion Collective is a seven-piece reggae/ska/afrobeat/jam band based out of Pune, Maharashtra. It is a group of like-minded musicians. Hence, the band often features different artists who have similar musical tastes/vision. The band started out as a three-member group in Kolkata. The idea was to have a LIVE reggae band in the Indie scene making people dance and delivering some messages and spreading awareness about social evils/issues that plague us as a nation and as a race. They have performed all around the country, playing at the most popular venues and festivals and have also done some gigs in Nepal in 2013. They have released an EP last year titled 'Keep the Fire Burning' which featured some stellar musicians.
