Rida and the Musical Folks is a LIVE band based out of Shillong. The band members are in search for the ideal way to create a meaningful experience while retaining a high degree of artistic integrity. The stories they share are open-ended making their interaction spontaneous, giving them an infinite range of expression. An intimate exploration designed to reveal natural communication of music and art, highlighting a specific form of nature as a subject of celebration and inquiry. The band is not like other music bands you have seen. The majority of members are in their 50s or so. Through their performances, they seek to motivate people to think about Mother Nature.
